Best WordPress Amazon Affiliate Plugins

If you run a niche site and you’ve chosen to monetize it through Amazon’s Associates program, it’s quite likely that you’re looking for the best Amazon Affiliate WordPress plugin. With over 70% of all websites on the Internet being hosted on WordPress, there is a chance that yours is, too.

In today’s post, we’re looking at a number of the plugins that we ourselves have tested in the past and that we have found work fast and pose no technical difficulties even to less tech-savvy individuals.

So, if you’re looking for a user-friendly Amazon Affiliate WordPress plugin, check out the list below.

WordPress Amazon Affiliate Plugin

Before we move on to showcasing them, we’d like to note that some of the essential features that you ought to look for in such a plugin are the following:

  • The ability to create product comparison tables or at least import images through Amazon’s API
  • Frequent updates so that your listings are up-to-date
  • Geotargeting (so that you can target several different audiences, such as in the US and in Canada, the UK, Australia, and other English-speaking countries)
  • Caching
  • AMP support

  1. AAWP

We’ve mentioned this option before, and that’s because we think that it’s a decent Amazon Affiliate plugin for WordPress. It’s very easy to use, and it automatically generates product boxes, some of which can look like tables, if that’s what you want.

On top of that, there are a variety of data fields that allow you to insert specific pieces of information if that’s what you want. Text affiliate links are generated automatically.

While we did like the bestseller and new releases tables generated by the plugin, we found that a combination of them and the standard 3-unit grid (which looks like a table but it’s not) worked best, especially on a combat sports website that was monetized through Amazon Associates.

In terms of costs, it’s not the cheapest plugin out there, but it does work great. A license for one site and one year will set you back 39 euros. One for 3 sites will set you back 99 euros and there are bigger plans available.

  1. AMZ Image (amzimage.com)

While this plugin might be less popular compared to others, such as EasyAzon, it’s by far the easiest to use if you want something user-friendly and that can pull images from products pages on Amazon.

It really doesn’t get easier than that. You can use either the product’s ASIN, its name, or look for the category and browse through several different products that you might want to promote

The plugin will automatically show you all of the images available for that product, so you can even pick several and in several different sizes, if that’s what you want. While every Amazon affiliate wants a single plugin to do it all, the truth is that working with AAWP and AMZ Image is far better as a combination than trying to make do with just one plugin for everything.

  1. AmaLinks Pro

AmaLinks Pro is a little more complicated in that you have a lot of freedom in terms of customization, so it’s not going to work automatically as some of the other plugins we’ve mentioned here.

With this one, you can create text and image links, CTA buttons, product comparison tables (which are responsive), and also individual product showcases. Creating a table is very easy as they have a drag and drop builder that lets you select the products, add columns as per the info you want rendered, and even reorder columns.

This one is one of the few plugins that integrate with Google Analytics, and that lets you track your affiliate link clicks.

  1. AzonPress

This one’s another popular plugin for Amazon affiliates, and it somewhat resembles AAWP in some respects. With AzonPress, you have the ability to create both product comparisons in the form of tables, but you can also create side-by-side ones, too.

Like AAWP, it comes with product grids, lists, and product boxes, all of which you can use to promote the products you want. Believe it or not, even the pricing is the same as a 1-year license for one site is going to cost you $39 (although dollars, not euros).

  1. EasyAzon

For a while, EasyAzon used to be the best Amazon Affiliate plugin for WordPress sites, but things have changed nowadays, and that’s why you are going to find it at the bottom of this list.

Yes, it is still useful, but compared to some of the other plugins showcased here, it’s expensive, and it’s not as user-friendly as you might tend to think it is. It does come with some neat features, though, such as link cloaking, link localization, and the ability to track several different affiliate IDs.

Less great Amazon Affiliate plugins

Most of the plugins that you should probably steer clear of have a poor design or don’t work as well as they are advertised. Many of them are free. Here are just a few affiliate marketing plugins for this program:

  • Amazon Auto Links
  • AmazonSimpleAdmin
  • Amazon Link Engine
