Best SEM Tools

The best SEM tools can assist you in improving your traffic and promoting your site, but also in getting better conversion rates. As the marketplace gets more and more competitive, website owners have to use a variety of SEM tools for research, analysis, and even for setting up their budget for ads.

All SEM tools have to come with a number of essential features for improving paid search results. A keyword feature is necessary, as well, but so is one that can allow you to perform competition analysis.

In this post, we’re looking at several SEM tools that you should give a shot to if you haven’t tried any just yet.

Top SEM Tools

  1. SEMrush

While it is not a PPC management tool per se (like some of the other options that we are showcasing here), SEMrush is still a pretty good choice as it comes with all of the features you might need to run a profitable SEm campaign

Besides their Advertising Toolkit, you will get access to several others, such as Content Marketing, PPC, and Traffic Analytics. On the whole, there are more than 40 tools available on the same platform, so you will definitely get your money’s worth.

Speaking of which, SEMrush is available in 3 plans. A Pro plan costs around $100 a month, a Guru plan costs around $200 a month, while the Business one will set you back by $400 a month.

  1. Google Ads

Are you looking for some of the best free SEM tools? If that’s so, the Google Ads Editor should be right up your alley. Granted, it is a bit more challenging to work with compared to others and it does call for at least some experience in terms of managing paid ads campaigns

But Google Ads has a number of advantages over other tools out there, and they mainly consist of showing you the cost, position, and conversion info, as well as an essential campaign metric such as the click-through rate.

With the Google Ads Editor, you can create and manage your advertising campaigns, and you also set your budget, pay for the results you get, and use the integrated Keyword Planner.

  1. Optmyzr

The digital marketing solution made available by Optmyzr is pretty comprehensive as it lets you create your strategies and even share them with other members of your team. If you decide to get this tool, you will get access to a number of useful features ranging from prebuilt optimisations to bid optimisation, KPIs, and keyword research.

In our opinion, this one is best for big businesses, especially since it tends to cost a pretty penny. The cheapest plan available will set you back approximately $500 a month, so it definitely does not address the needs of bloggers and marketers who are merely starting out.

There is a trial available and it lasts for two weeks, though, in case you might be interested in getting it, after all.

  1. Bing Ads

If you want to run ads on Bing, this editor is the tool you should be using. Like the Google Ads Editor, Bing Ads is completely free to use. Even better, you can download it to your desktop so that you use it both online and offline.

It does call for a learning curve, however, but so do many other tools that we have listed in our selection. It’s worth learning if you only have a budget for ads and you’re unwilling to pay more than one hundred bucks on such a tool.

  1. SuperMetrics

Collecting data for your digital marketing campaigns with this tool is pretty easy as it can work with a variety of other applications. You can conveniently transfer the information to other SEM reporting tools ranging from Bing, Google Adwords, Google Sheets, and several others.

The pricing is a little different to what you might be used to, in that they have several toolkits available. For the Uploader, which works with Google Analytics, you’ll pay just $39 a month. But for Google Sheets, you’ll have to pay $69 a month, by comparison.

If you’re having a hard time determining whether this could be a useful tool for you, you can always get the 14-day trial made available by SuperMetrics.
