Best Home Security Affiliate Programs

The home security niche is quite lucrative these days, especially as more and more people are looking into installing such systems on their homes. In the United States alone, the number of burglaries that happen every single year typically goes beyond 1 million.

The truth is that these criminals are less likely to target places that are visibly protected. So, if you’re an affiliate marketer with a bit of experience or if you’re just looking for a number of affiliate programs in this niche, you’ve come to the right place.

Check out the top home security affiliate programs currently available — reviewed below. For all of them, we will specify the cookie length and the commission rates that you can expect.

Best Home Security Affiliate Programs – Reviews

Revo Home security

This home security affiliate program should be right up your alley because even though the commission rate is just 5%, the cookie duration is 60 days, which definitely sweetens up the deal.

Another positive aspect that we would like to add about this program is that the company has been around for quite a while and during that time, they have managed to serve more than 300,000 happy customers.

Guardline

Unlike some of the other companies that we have noted in this article, Guardline makes some of the top-performing motion sensors for outdoor use. The products have received more than enough rave reviews in the past, so at least you are not going to have a hard time recommending them to your audience.

As for the Guardline affiliate program, you’ll be happy to know that the commission is a standard 25% on all qualifying orders and the cookie lasts for 30 days. While the cookie could have been slightly longer, we’d say that this is one of the highest paying programs in this niche, so why not give it a go?

Also, you can rely on good old ShareASale to manage everything with this one.

SmartHome

Something that makes this option stand out from the crowd is that it is a net winner when it comes to the networks you can use it with. For example, you can run it through ShareASale, Rakuten Marketing, or Commission Junction, so if you are an affiliate of any of these platforms, you can find SmartHome there.

In terms of the commissions, it’s probably nothing worth writing home about since you are going to earn 4% of every order placed by your referrals. The cookie lasts just 30 days, which is yet another detail probably not worth writing home about.

Lorex Technology

If you’re looking for a home security affiliate dealer program that’s run through Impact Radius (which we will review in the upcoming weeks on this blog), then this one should be a perfect match for you.

Lorex makes a variety of home security systems, from cameras and digital video recorders to all sorts of surveillance products. As for their affiliate program, you can expect a commission rate of 6% on all qualifying orders and a cookie duration of 30 days.

The cookie length could have been better, but at least the company has deals and discounts that can make you a bit more money.

Blink Home Video Security

While you might not have heard about this company, the truth is that they have been around for quite a decent time, during which they have gathered a lot of experience in making and improving their surveillance digital camera.

The camera itself is a great product since it allows you to get live footage based on temperature and motion sensors. As such, you can have control on what’s happening around your home even when you’re at work or away for holiday.

If you’d like to recommend these products, this home security system affiliate program should be a good option. Just to let you know, the 7% commission rate offered by Blink is one of the highest ones we have come across and higher sales volume can increase it even more. The cookie lasts for 45 days.

Frontpoint

While we couldn’t find any specific info about the duration of the cookie when it comes to the Frontpoint affiliate program, you might want to consider suggesting it just because the commission rate is really good.

For every person that makes a purchase through your affiliate link, you can make as much as $300.

Kuna

This is a program that’s managed through Rakuten LinkShare, so if you already use this network, it could be an advantage to take into account. Kuna sells DIY home security devices and the brand has experienced a significant increase in popularity over the past years.

While the cookie length remains a mystery with this one, too, the commission rate is 10% on all orders. If your referrals spend at least $200 on the website, you will earn a commission of 20% of those purchases.

Reolink

This one is quite unique in that you can generate different earnings depending on the network you use for managing it. The commissions can vary from 6% to 19.8% and as a home security system affiliate, you can also earn .05 per lead.

But the thing that makes the Reolink affiliate program stand out from the crowd is its tiered commission system. Depending on your sales volume, you can earn a lower or a higher commission.

However, if you make the mistake of joining the program through CJ Affiliates and using that platform for everything, you will be paid a fixed 2% commission for everything. As such, we suggest joining this program through ShareASale instead. As for the cookie, it lasts for 45 days, which is pretty decent.

Secure24

This company sells anything from home automation products to security systems, so there are lots of products that you can recommend to your website users.

Unfortunately, the program isn’t particularly straightforward, in the sense that the cookie duration remains an enigma. Another drawback is that you can’t join it through an affiliate network — you have to submit an application directly on the company website.

However, Secure24 is a program that you should at least jot down on your list simply because they offer a commission rate of $200 per referral.

Arlo

This company sells wireless smart surveillance cameras that are rugged and dependable and that basically work in all sorts of weather conditions. They also have a variety of other products available, ranging from charging stations to solar panel chargers.

If you’d like to be an Arlo affiliate, you will have to join the program through CJ Affiliates. They offer a commission of 7% on all orders and a cookie that lasts for 30 days.

SkyBell

Finally a program that’s actually worth joining in every way. On the one hand, it is managed through ShareASale, so that’s one less thing to worry about. On the other, this is one of the few home security affiliate programs out there that actually pay you decent money.

The commission rate is 12% of all eligible orders and the cookie lasts for three whole months. We’d say that is pretty good, especially if you have taken the time to go through some of the other choices listed by us here.

Fortress

While you can’t join this program through a different platform like Awin or anything similar, you might want to consider it simply because of the money you can make.

You can earn as much as 20% of all the orders you refer through your affiliate links. The cookie lasts just 30 days, so it could have been better, but then again you have to analyze the pros and cons yourself to understand whether it makes sense for you to recommend Fortress products.

By the way, the company sells anything from 24/7 monitoring services to wifi security systems.

The Home Security Superstore

As its name suggests, this website specializes in selling a variety of home safety products, such as alarms, security lights, and emergency armaments.

The program is pretty decent since you get a 9% commission on all qualifying orders and you have the benefit of a 60-day cookie.

Vivint home security affiliate program

Believe it or not, even if you might have never heard of this brand, it has been around ever since 1999. During that time, the company has acquired a lot of experience and it has improved the products that they sell.

For example, some products that you can find here range from safety alarms and garage door controls to smart lighting sensors and home security systems.

The program has one of the highest commission rates that we have come across since they pay you 30% of all of the orders that your referrals place on their website. The cookie does last for just 30 days, but that could have been much worse, too.

Hippo home security affiliate program

We’d say that the best thing about the Hippo program is the fact that the cookie lasts for 90 days. Other than that, there’s not a lot of positives that we can add with regard to it.

The commission rate is just $5 per lead, which might be okay if you tend to generate lots of traffic and are able to refer thousands of people to the brand’s website.

On the other hand, you can manage everything through ShareASale, so at least there’s that.

Brinks home security affiliate program

Did you know that there are over 1 million users of Brinks products right now based in Canada, the United States, as well as Puerto Rico? If you didn’t, that should give you a clue as to how reliable and convenient their protection solutions truly are.

Brinks pays its affiliates as much as $200 per lead, and you might argue that it’s an incredible rate and that something’s fishy. Well, it’s not, and here’s why. People have to pay for a subscription in order to keep using the Brinks service, so they will be making the company money in the future, too. That’s why the commission rate is so high.

The cookie lasts for 30 days, which is a standard for this industry. Additionally, you can manage everything regarding the program, including your stats and improve your performance based on them, through the Pepperjam affiliate network (which we recently reviewed).

Zmodo

This home security surveillance system affiliate program is yet another that you should look into. The company is Chinese and sells some of the best equipment for home protection; the average order on the site is about $500, so you can make some pretty decent income by recommending these products to your blog audience.

As for the affiliate program itself, it could have been slightly better. The reason we’re saying this is the tracking cookie, which only has a length of 7 days. The commission rate is 5%, which is something you will encounter in many of the other programs we’ve reviewed in this article.

Armor Concepts

This one is perhaps one of the best affiliate programs in the niche of home security currently available. Armor Concepts provides security solutions for individual homes and building complexes in North America (both in Canada and in the United States).

Affiliates can earn 20% of eligible orders and they have as many as 120 days at their disposal to get referrals to convert using their affiliate link. This is one of the longest cookie durations we have stumbled upon while doing our research for this article.

Another aspect worth adding about the Armor Concepts program is that you can manage everything through CJ Affiliate, which is undoubtedly convenient.

SANNCE

This one might be a good option if you haven’t made up your mind on an affiliate program, but we would like to note that you aren’t going to be making the big bucks with SANNCE.

However, the commission rate is 3.5% of all approved orders or $4 on every referral. The cookie lasts for 60 days, which could have been a lot worse compared to some of the other programs we have showcased in this post.

What we do have to note about this program is that it is completely managed through ShareASale, so if you are an affiliate of any other programs listed on this network, that could be an advantage.

Amazon Associates

There are plenty of options when it comes to security cameras on Amazon.com, so if you really need to use it as a way of diversifying your monetization options, you aren’t going to run out of product categories.

Unfortunately, Amazon Associates now has the lowest commission rates in the industry. To make things worse, the cookie lasts just 24 hours and in order to use the Amazon API, you also have to make sure that you do not recommend products from competing retailers on the same page.

In this day and age and with the many options that are available right now, we’d say that being an Amazon affiliate is not really the key to success.
