As an SEO, it can be difficult to maintain everything that I do manually. In my case, I have hundreds of sites that need to be regularly updated with fresh new content as part of the many PBNs I own. This kind of work would be impossible to carry out alone on top of the other work that I’m required to carry out with clients etc. This is where SEO content machine come in, This tool makes creating content extremely easy and fast with good results.
SEO content machine is a tool that makes creating content extremely easy and fast with good results. Now don’t get me wrong there is no magic quick trick here and with tools like these, it’s all about how to use it effectively for your business which is why I’m making this tutorial. SEO content machine is actually pretty unique as you don’t need any proxies or a VPS to run it, which helps keep those extra costs low. What it does is scans through hundreds of sites content, which is then spun into unique content for you to post onto your own websites.
In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how easy it is to use this tool and what steps you need to take so that you can let this automation take the stress of writing hundreds of articles away for you.
First things First, it’s time to talk about prices. SEO content machine has a few different pricing structures that you can choose from.
The free trial option lasts for 5 days and doesn’t require you to fill out your billing information. What you do have to keep in mind however, is that you won’t be able to keep any of your projects saved when you close the software with the free version. The next options are:
Once you’ve chosen your preferred plan, you’ll be sent an email with a username and password along with a link to the membership page where you’ll find your download link.
After it’s installed, you’ll be prompted once more with a login screen, log in and SEO Content Machine start.
SEO Content Machine is a program you can use to generate content, for any keyword and also in multiple languages. It also comes with a bunch of other content related tools to help you with the content manipulation and support for automated blog posting.
SCM is a very handy tool if you need content for link building software. You can use it to create 100s of pre-spun articles complete with images and videos.
The article generation is controlled by templates, a few exist already for popular link building programs but it means you can mold text into any format you need for importing into other link building tools.
For instance, it can generate both project template files and plain text article for import into GSA SER.
The tool comes with support for most of the spinning APIs out there, like The Best Spinner and Spinner Chief as well as support for French and Spanish article spinners. If you don’t have money for a paid spinner you can always use the built-in spinner “Soft Spin”.
Today’s tutorial, here, you will learn to:
Create an article complete with images, videos and contextual links
Control the quality & relevance of the content
Manage and update a private blog network
Import content into a link building program
Out of the box, the program ships with a bunch of premade export templates for programs like:
SEO Content Machine also has its own template editor so you can create output templates for other programs or for your own needs.
When you first open SEO content machine, a setup wizard will begin that helps take you through the process of creating articles. I highly recommend following it to help get a better understanding the steps involved.
The first step is adding your keywords for SEO content machine to base your articles on. When you add your keyword, the tool will search for other related keywords using Google. You can change which country the search engine is searching from and language its using. As you can see in the picture above, I’ve made a search for the keyword “Car Insurance“. The list of keywords that show can now be selected with their checkboxes.
Here is where you set your articles length and layout.
Article Type – SEO content machine comes with loads of different content templates from other tools such as GSA SER and Ultimate Demon.
Article Quality/Content Mashing – There are two options here to choose from, Unique and Readable. The first will option will make your content extremely unique but its readability will suffer. Likewise with the readable option, your content will better for the user to read but it runs the risk of duplicate content. Now these options only apply to SCM’s own spinner so this isn’t too important as you’ll see in the next section.
Paragraph Count – This is where you choose the number of paragraphs you want your article to contain. Each paragraph will contain 100 words so if you want a 600-word article for example then you select 6 paragraphs.
Paragraph Variations – The number you choose here is the amount of syntax variations there’ll be in an article. The higher the number is here the more times you’ll be able to use the same article without creating duplicate content.
Article Count – How many articles this project is going to create.
Article Save Location – At the bottom is where you choose a folder for the articles to be saved in.
Earlier I explained the article quality could be split into either readable or unique. While this is true for the “soft spin” that comes free with SCM, there is a whole list of 3rd party content spinners that you can use.
I highly suggest that you use a better content spinner than soft spin as the end result isn’t the best. I would recommend using one of the others such as WordAi or SpinnerChief. These spinners do come at a cost but they will give you the results you need to effectively use this tool. Once you have your content spinner you need to click on the “Enter Spinner Logins”. Here is where you can add your login credentials for the spinner to work correctly with SCM.
This one is pretty self-explanatory, you can choose the amount of images and videos that feature in your articles. This helps add a bit more weight to your content which search engines like to see over text-only articles.
Next up is adding links to the articles. Clicking the “add link” button will throw up the menu that you see below.
The box on the left-hand side is where you add your link and the one on the right is the anchor text you want to appear for your links. You want to add as many variations here as possible to keep your articles unique.
After you’ve filled that out, you can set how often generic anchor text will be used such as “click here” and “visit our site”.
This is yet another variation that you should look to include in your articles to further the number of variations you can have.
Lastly, you choose the insert link settings. This involves where you want the links to placed and how many per article. You don’t want to spam your articles with too many links as it will most likely result in your articles being marked as spam by Google. Likewise, the placement of your links should vary so that no easily detectable pattern is occurring.
That’s the basic setup done using the wizard and you can go ahead and click finish to start generating the articles. Once your project finishes you’ll find the articles sitting in the folder that you assigned them to.
As you can see, the 6 articles that I created are sitting in the new folder. From the preview, you can see that they have been saved in syntax form. This is because I choose the GSA SER template in the setup wizard, however you can change this and make even further tweaks to your project in the advanced settings.
If you head to “content tasks”, you should see your project. Opening this up will give you plenty more options to play around with.
This gives you an entire overview of your article creator, allowing you to make any changes and further improve the articles. At the bottom is the “Export” options and as you can see the folder is set to spintax. This is why our past articles were saved in this form, clicking on this dropdown gives you the option to switch it to no spintax or even change it to pdf. There is a row of tabs at the top you can through that will take you back to each section, each with a bit more available to change such as the sources that SCM will use when creating the article.
Content Tools
Another nice feature that SCM has is the ability to use each of the tools individually instead of creating a full project.
There’s a good number of tools here that you can use here including image and keyword scrapers and an “about me” page generator.
To generate an article, click on the Article Creator task menu item.
Here is an overview of the steps you need to take.
Click on “Add Task” to start the content generation. A handy thing with saved tasks is that they can be also scheduled to run as many times as needed.
If you don’t have a paid spinner, “Soft spin” will work adequately. If you are having problems with getting content indexed, you can try a paid spinner like The Best Spinner or WordAI to improve the uniqueness and readability of the final output.
You can insert links into the created content automatically. Under the Article Creator links tab, are a variety of link insertion options.
The software will then fetch content sources. This is how it looks when running:
In case you run out of battery or lose electricity while running, the app will resume once you get back. When you are multitasking and leave it running in the background, it gives a notification if done. When completed, you may inspect the output articles.
Here is an output article without Spintax:
This one has Spintax and contextual link:
The output content may not be in perfect English but you give it some finishing touches. It is good enough for tier 1, 2 or 3 or money sites.
For the SENuke campaign, you just have to specify SENuke in your Export format.
Clicking OK saves the articles and SCM will open a window with all the articles inside. The articles are ready to be imported to SENuke.
You can generate articles for Sick Submitter and GSA as well. For Sick Submitter, the article format includes a title, summary, body, resource, keywords and categories.
Hence, any software that allows import of articles, you can create a template to export to in SCM easily and this has to be a good feature as it makes the tool work with practically every link building app. SEO Content Machine is a flexible tool with lots of useful features.
Another way to create an article is SCM’s Article Downloader. It likewise allows use of more than one keyword. For instance, “skin care” and “how to make skin smooth.” You can input keywords, URLs to scrape from and article sources.
The Bio or About Me generator allows generation of various contents for “About Me.” It allows you to insert links as well.
About Me sample:
SCM has a tool that allows publishing of articles to blogs or Word Press. From the main menu, go to Blogs Manager by clicking on the left arrow at the upper left corner.
Then add your WP blog site and input details.
Import articles.
Select Import blog folders.
You can apply finishing touches to the articles. Then save changes and post.
Here is the published article:
SCM is easy to use with an easy-to-understand interface which gives more control over what content to create and spin. It is among many people’s preferred tools for auto-generated content, which saves a lot of time as it can add photos, links and videos, as well as import data with just a few clicks. SCM is a money saver software that helps with content creation, back linking, SEO and drawing traffic for websites.
This tool can definitely help take some stress of your workload. If you have hundreds of sites that need content then a tool like this is the perfect option to keep those sites populated with content. However, this is still a content creation tool that isn’t going to provide you content as good as a human copywriter could so for your money sites(client websites) I wouldn’t recommend taking this shortcut.
Pros
Cons
At the end of the day, my opinion on this tool all comes down to what you are using it for. For those smaller less significant site’s you have, this tool is the perfect time saver. As long as you don’t get lazy and use this kind of software for everything you write, then it’s worth the purchase.
