If you tend to write about health and beauty on your blog or website and you are looking for new ways of monetizing your content, becoming a Market Health affiliate might be a good idea.
In today’s article, we’re looking at everything that you should know about the Market Health affiliate program, from how easy it is to join to the commissions you can expect depending on the products that you are interested in recommending to your audience.
This is a company that has been around for more than twenty years now and during that time, the network has amassed an impressive number of affiliate marketers.
Most of the products that you will find here are considered in the category of health, fitness, as well as beauty, so do consider whether that matches your niche or not.
The offers range a lot from one product to the other and what we mean by this is that for some, you will be paid based on a cost per sale model whereas for others, you’ll earn commissions based on a cost per action model.
The reason we’re calling this program a network is that it’s managed by the company itself, which means that you will get access to a dashboard where you can check all of your stats and conversions so that you can better your performance as time goes by.
Joining the network is quite straightforward from what we have gathered, which means that you are going to be asked for some basic information such as your name or the name of your company, your website URL, your address, the country you are based in and if you are based in the United States, some tax information, too.
Other than that, there’s nothing you have to worry about. You will get your answer in a matter of several days as there will be someone from the Market Health affiliate management team checking out your application.
What we’d like to note is that while some affiliates have noted that Market Health might be a scam, it’s actually quite legit. In fact, it is one of the most trustworthy affiliate platforms that we have come across, and we think that in some respects, it’s even better than others, including ClickBank.
There are more than one hundred offers now available on the site and they are categorized as per the location these products are available in, such as the country you’re interested in advertising to, and the type of products per se.
For example, you can find offers for specific countries such as Italy, Argentina, Chile, France, Spain, as well as the United Kingdom. Most of the others you will encounter on the site are going to be products that will also be available in the United States, so that’s one less thing to worry about.
As for the categories themselves, you can find products in the Men’s or Women’s health and beauty, skincare, sports nutrition, general health, cosmetics, teeth whitening, or colon health.
We’re fairly sure that if you take some time to take a look at all of the offers available (and there are only a little over one hundred of them), you will discover something that you can blog about.
Before we move on to how much you can actually make with the network, we’d like to note that you should devote some time to reading the terms and conditions.
For example, you are definitely allowed to use your affiliate links on your website or blog, but you should not engage in link cloaking practices as you can get booted out of the program.
If you want to promote Market Health products through email marketing, you need to ask for a manager to approve your application in this sense.
Organic search and co-registration are two other methods that you can use to recommend Market Health products, but do consider that most such programs and networks have a strict policy regarding using the brand name — so try to make your ads as non-specific as possible, if you can.
Now that we’ve gotten out of the way, let’s look at the commission values that you can expect if you become a Market Health affiliate. The standard rate is 50% on all products, but this can differ depending on the marketing model that they can be categorized in (cost per sale or cost per action).
The 50% commission is definitely worth writing home about, strictly because lots of other affiliate platforms or programs just don’t offer as much. To make things even better, if someone makes a purchase through your affiliate link once and then decides to order again, you’ll get a recurring commission.
So not only is this one of the best earning affiliate programs out there, it’s also one of the top recurring affiliate programs.
When we started researching this network for our Market Health affiliate review, we came across a plethora of other bloggers who have written about it and according to whom the platform pays its affiliates only through PayPal.
But if you go on the company’s website, you’ll see that there are several different payment options available, such as cheque, wire transfers, payment through Skrill, and Payoneer. So there’s actually no way of you getting your earnings through PayPal, at least not based on what we found on the Market Health website.
Obviously, this can be a disadvantage for some people, although considering the taxes that PayPal charges, it’s not as much of a drawback.
As for the frequency of payments, you don’t have to worry about having to wait for a period of up to two or even three months until your commissions are fully approved. The payments are sent out twice a month and there’s a waiting period of just two weeks. The commissions are paid on the 1st and 16th of every month.
Probably the first and most significant reason to join the Market Health affiliate network would have to be that the signup process is extremely smooth. You do not have to go through a lengthy process where you get on calls with managers and try to convince them to get you approved.
You easily get access to the dashboard and once everything is set up, you can start recommending products to your readers.

Then, there’s the fact that this program has some of the best rates that we have come across, and we’ve undoubtedly gone through dozens if not hundreds of affiliate programs in the past year or so. The 50% commission makes Market Health worth considering by any affiliate marketer out there.
And once you have referred more than 20 sales to the websites and they were completed successfully, you can reach out to a representative so that they can increase your commission to 60%.
On top of everything, since there are offers for lots of countries, you can recommend them on several different niche websites in various languages. For example, if you have a website in English and also manage others in French or Spanish, there are products catered to those markets, too.
We all know that every affiliate network or program comes with pros and cons alike, so it is important for you to be aware of everything before you decide to join.
For some individuals, the fact that they can’t be paid through PayPal can be a significant drawback. Most marketers aren’t bothered by this inconvenience, though, since they can easily utilize services like Payoneer, where they get virtual bank accounts in several different currencies.
Although the website isn’t really clear about this, the reality is that not all types of affiliates are able to submit an application. In fact, Market Health is not available in specific countries, so if you are unlucky enough to be based in one of those, you may not manage to become an affiliate.
Despite having offers for different locations, not all of the products you will encounter on the platform can be shipped internationally, so that’s another aspect to take into account.
Finally, there’s another thing that should probably make you think twice before becoming a Market Health affiliate and it’s the fact that many of the offers come from websites that don’t have a SSL certificate.

While that might not seem like too much of a drawback, some of your readers might be wary about the ‘not secure’ mention that Google includes before the URL of such sites.
Therefore, they might not want to make a purchase for fear of having their personal data shared with third parties or just becoming a potential victim of identity theft and other such practices.
In the end, the biggest problem with health affiliate programs, in general, is that some of these products don’t seem really trustworthy in the sense that the supplements might not have been approved by the FDA or there are just better options out there. That means that you will have to do your best to convince your readers that these products are actually worth trying out.
While some marketers might find themselves bothered by the fact that besides the affiliate links, Market Health doesn’t really give you promotion materials like banners and other eye-catching additions, you can always create your own resources and just add your link to them.

Because Market Health is a network and a program in itself, it would be difficult for us to note just platforms where you can come across health products, too.
Naturally, there are such offers available on competing networks such as ShareASale, Awin, CJ Affiliate, and more, but these are better options for affiliates who have several different niche sites and it would be easier for them to manage everything in a single place.

So here are some other separate programs that you may want to consider if you are looking to diversify your income streams or just pick something other than Market Health.
This site sells a variety of different products, but most of them are in the category of vitamins, supplements, probiotics, and beauty and health products in general. There are over 500 of them available on the site at the time we’re writing this.
The good thing about the Physician’s Choice affiliate program is that it pays a 25% rate for every single sale with a tracking cookie lasting for not one, not two, but three whole months. The payment threshold is $100 and you can be paid monthly.
This one is slightly different in that people actually have to get a subscription in order to be able to order products by Thrive Market. Most of the focus of this company revolves around bringing healthy, yet budget-friendly foods, supplements, powders, and anything else in this niche to consumers.

If you get someone to purchase a membership for one month, you’ll be paid a $5 commission. But if someone decides to get a membership for the whole year through your affiliate link, your rate will be $40. The cookie lasts for just two weeks, so it could have been better.
We decided to include this one to our list simply because Amazon is such a huge brand that people trust the company so they will have less of a hard time making a purchase. The good thing is that if someone clicks on your affiliate link and then decides to opt for a different product, you’ll still be paid a commission.
But other than that, there aren’t too many positive things that we can say about Amazon Associates in that the commission rates are very low (sometimes just 1%) and the cookie lasts for just 24 hours. So you’re way better off being a Market Health affiliate instead.
