If you’re based in South Africa or the majority of your website’s or blog’s audience is based in this country, then you’re probably looking for affiliate programs with the help of which you can actually make conversions.
For today’s article, we’ve prepared a list of some of the top affiliate programs in South Africa. For each of the ones listed below, we will specify the commissions along with the cookie durations you can expect.

Digital products
Fiverr
We’ve written a separate post about this affiliate program. With Fiverr, there are several ways of earning. You can actually get people to hire freelancers by using your affiliate link, but you may also be able to convince them to try the courses that are now available on the platform, which will make you a better commission.
Different products sold will bring you different rates. For instance, if you get one of your readers to work with a freelancer for content, you’ll be paid a $25 commission. With slideshows, this will be higher — more like $30.
If one of your referrals gets the Fiverr Pro program, you can get a $150 commission off the bat. Best of all, the tracking cookie lasts for a whole year.
PureVPN
VPNs have become a must these days, especially when you’re traveling. Whether you’re looking to see your favorite TV shows from a different country or you just want to make sure that your financial information doesn’t get leaked, a VPN definitely comes in handy.
As a PureVPN affiliate, your commission rate can vary a lot depending on the type of subscription your audience decides to invest in. The minimum you can make is 40% for the first payment with a 35% recurring rate for plan renewals.
The maximum is a 100% flat commission. The only drawback to becoming a PureVPN affiliate is that besides having a website, you also need to have a significant online presence on social media, whether that be YouTube, Twitch, or TikTok — and that is something not all affiliates can abide by.
Bluehost
We mentioned Bluehost in many of our other posts and that’s because both the rate you can expect with this one and the cookie duration make this affiliate program worth taking into account.
You do have to join on the company’s own website since we couldn’t find any info as to whether this one is available on any affiliate networks out there. However, given the fixed $65 commission you’re paid for every referral that gets a subscription, we would not consider that a drawback.
Even better, the cookie window is 90 days, so it’s much better compared to others on this list.
Stallion Hosting
This is a company actually based in South Africa. As you may have been able to tell from the name, web hosting packages is what the brand has to offer. Their affiliate program is one of the best we’ve seen, and without any exaggeration, since they are offering a 25% commission on all purchases.
Unfortunately, we could not find any information on how long the cookie lasts with this one, so you’ll have to do a bit of digging by yourself. You can join on the brand’s website (which kind of looks like it’s taken straight out of the 1990s), so you are not going to find this one on any separate networks.
Kaspersky
If you’ve ever promoted antivirus software before, you’ve probably heard of Kaspersky before. The brand has one of the higher-paying options that we are showcasing in today’s post, so you may want to consider it if you are in the right niche.
As an affiliate, you can make 20% out of every sale made through your links. The cookie window lasts for 60 days, which definitely isn’t bad.
These days, the company is present in several domains, not just antivirus. They also offer Internet security and total security products, allowing Internet users to rest assured that their sensitive data isn’t leaked or that their gadgets become victims of any type of malware.
Hubspot
This is a fairly good option if you are looking for high-earning opportunities and you think that your audience might actually resonate with a full-stack marketing platform that makes them make the most of their efforts.
Hubspot offers you a 90-day cookie window, which is undoubtedly worth writing home about. The commissions actually vary depending on what you feel would make more sense for yourself.
For example, if you pick the recurring variant, your rate will be 15%. But if you are unsure whether or not your readers will renew their subscription (and bear in mind it does cost a pretty penny), you’ll be paid a flat 100% rate once. On average, Hubspot pay more than $200 per referral, so people tend to get pretty large subscriptions.
SEMRush
We wrote about BeRush before and that’s because it is by far one of the best affiliate programs out there right now. First of all, the commissions are recurring on any of the purchases that your audience makes.
Believe it or not, SEMRush also pay their affiliates if someone signs up for the free trials. You can get a $10 rate on that. As for the rest of the products, if someone gets a monthly subscription, you can make up to $200 per referral.
The tracking cookie also lasts for as many as 120 days, which is downright incredible given what other companies have to offer.
Udemy
There are both good things and less great things about the Udemy program. On the one hand, it’s in the education niche, so you’ll be doing a service to your audience if you recommend it.
The 15% commission rate isn’t all that bad, either, considering that some of these courses are sold for more than $100 a pop. Unfortunately, the cookie lasts for just 7 days, which is significantly less than what we’ve seen with similar programs.
Teachable
This one is a little different in that it mostly speaks to the needs of folks who want to actually build a course and start selling it to their own audience. If you get people to do so through your affiliate link, you will enjoy a commission of 30% per referral.
Best of all, this rate is recurring, so each time someone renews their subscription, you will also get an earning. We’d also like to note that the cookie lasts for 90 days, which is better than most of what we’ve seen with some of Teachable’s competitors.
Shopify
We will be doing a more detailed article on the Shopify affiliate program along with what you can use the service for if you also want to build an online shop. But as an affiliate, you can make up to $58 per referral if you get people to purchase a subscription.
ClickFunnels
We did a separate review of this affiliate program and as you might expect, it is available to a worldwide affiliate audience. With this service, you can make up to 40% in commissions, but the best thing about it is that these earnings are recurring.
Each time someone renews their subscription or gets another product, you get a commission for that sale, too. Just keep in mind that ClickFunnels only speaks to the needs of affiliate marketers that can recommend sales funnels to their blog readers.
Physical products
Ever Beauty
If you’ve been scouring the Internet for the top beauty affiliate programs in South Africa, look no further. This one sells a wide range of make-up products and cosmetics and they operate in this country in particular.
As an affiliate, you can make up to 10% out of every order placed through your links. It’s also worth noting that you can choose whether you want to be paid in cash or store credit — so in case you want to create new content with Ever Beauty products, that is also an option.
4aKid
This website is all about whatever parents need to better take care of their children — and we mean anything ranging from baby accessories and bedroom decor to clothing, e-books, and more.
The commission rate you can expect with the 4aKid affiliate program varies depending on the product category, but the maximum is 20% out of the value of each sale.
In this case, too, we couldn’t find any info as to the duration of the tracking cookie.
Pure Nutracare
If health and fitness is your blog’s niche and that’s the type of products that you want to suggest to your readers, Pure Nutracare might be right up your alley. The program makes it possible for you to make 20% out of the value of each referred sale.
If you get people to join the affiliate program, you’ll make a 5% commission on all of the sales that your sub-affiliates refer to Pure Nutracare, too.
eVitamins
The products you will come across on this website are pretty much in the same niche that we have just mentioned, with the difference that they aren’t geared toward folks that want to get in the best shape possible but rather just be healthy.
eVitamins even has pet care products as well as immune support supplements and bath and beauty additions. The program itself is fairly good since it can help you earn anything between 12% and 20% depending on the value of the order and the products purchased.
Future Light
If you’d like to vary the types of products that you recommend to your audience or just write about, this one might be a great method. Future Light has a generous inventory consisting of lightbulbs, bike lights, LED strip lights, and pretty much anything in this field.
As an affiliate, you can make 7% out of every sale that you refer to their site and that is made successfully. The tracking code works for 30 days, so there are no surprises in this sense.
Amazon Associates
Although not a favorite of all affiliate marketers these days, ever since they made their commissions lower, Amazon Associates is still one of the biggest players around. So, if you think that people will order from this huge brand using your affiliate links, it might make sense to join.
You can do this directly on the Amazon.com website and then add another tracking ID so that you can use the API for all of your plugins and any other tools you might want to utilize for pulling product images from the site, for example.
Joining is free and easy, but your account will be verified at one point and if you do not make a sale during the first 180 days of your account’s existence, it will be deleted.
Adidas
The Adidas affiliate program in South Africa can be found on numerous affiliate platforms, such as VigLink, Sovrn, and others. In a nutshell, this huge brand pays you up 7% out of every referred sale, which might not sound like a lot, but this is Adidas we’re talking about.
The cookie length is 30 days on most of the platforms we checked out, but you will have to do your own research just to be on the safe side of things. Payments are processed through ACH and PayPal, so that’s one less thing to worry about.
Nike
The Nike affiliate program in South Africa definitely deserves your consideration, and the reason we’re saying this is because there are affiliates making upwards of $1,000 per month just with this one.
Although the commission rate stands at just 11% out of every sale made through your affiliate links, the fact that the brand is so well-known and reputable will make things easier for you when recommending products to your audience.
The cookie lasts for 30 days, which is pretty much the industry standard at this point.
Final thoughts
As you might have seen, there’s quite a fair share of affiliate programs now operating in South Africa. Just make sure that the products and services that you will be recommending to your audience are trustworthy — even if you decide to use a different program than what we suggested in this article.
Transparency about your affiliate activity is also a must because all of your posts should contain at least one or two sentences about how you may make a small commission if people buy stuff through your links.
