Best Insurance Affiliate Programs

Insurance is a rather interesting niche if and depending on how you look at it, you might have a bit of a hard time promoting various services to your blog readers.

But there is no shortage of insurance affiliate programs out there. However, since they are different (some of them are for life/health, others are for cars, for example), we decided to split them up into sub-categories.

Best insurance affiliate programs

Life insurance affiliate programs

Haven Life

Haven Life is in the business of offering affordable and easy insurance to the people that need it the most. Based on the info that we came across, it seems that the company has all-around excellent customer support, so you will be recommending a good service to your blog audience.

When it comes to the life insurance affiliate program, we would like to note that it can be joined through FlexOffers, a network that will let you see all your stats in a single place. Every lead will earn you a $24 commission and the cookie length is 30 days, which is not bad.

HealthIQ

Although this one might have worked in the health category, too, they also provide life insurance services, so we thought we’d include it in this section.

HealthIQ is one of the most unique programs that we have stumbled upon and that’s also because what they can do for customers is different — their rates are based on people’s lifestyles, too, such as whether they jog or have a plant-based diet.

If you become an insurance affiliate of this program, you might earn up to $120 per sale. The cookie duration is 30 days. Like Haven Life, you can join HealthIQ through FlexOffers.

Policygenius

While we couldn’t find any information on how long the cookie lasts on this affiliate program, we did find out how much you can earn for qualifying sales, and it is pretty good — $120.

Policygenius is a full-service insurance company in that besides life insurance, it can also cover people’s homes, vehicles, and more. You have to join the program individually, so you can’t do it through an affiliate network in their case.

Ladder

Since this program pays just $75 per sale, you might think that it is not even worth considering. Well, that couldn’t be farther from the truth and the reason we say this is the 60-day cookie duration.

This detail automatically makes the Ladder insurance affiliate program better than many of its competitors, so we think that you should give it a shot.

Sproutt

What’s interesting about the Sproutt program is that it can be joined through ShareASale. This means that, if you have several different websites and you also recommend physical products to your users, you can conveniently rely on the same affiliate network to make a bit of money on the side.

Sproutt pays its affiliates $60 per every sale and the cookie length is the standard 30 days that you might have already gotten used to.

Car insurance affiliate programs

Esurance

If an auto insurance affiliate program is a better choice for you as maybe you are not in the right niche to promote life insurance, then Esurance should be right up your alley.

First of all, it can be managed through CJ Affiliate, which is an advantage in itself, since the platform also gives you access to a wide variety of marketing tools (banners, logos, links, and everything else).

The downside is that you can earn just $10 per sale, which doesn’t seem too much considering the value of the commissions that other affiliate programs have in place. The cookie does last for 30 days, though.

Liberty Mutual Insurance

Although this company offers various types of insurance, one of the most appreciated ones seems to be their auto one. We will note that the commissions tend to vary a lot depending on the exact service your referral invests in.

For example, you can earn anything from $3 to $17 per sale, but it depends on every kind of application. But what really makes the Liberty Mutual insurance program stand out from the crowd is the 120-cookie length.

Electric Insurance

Electric Insurance has been around ever since the 1960s, so the company has a lot of experience when it comes to dealing with customers. Their services are pretty varied, and while they do offer auto insurance, too, they can also cover condos, renters, as well as homes.

The commission value goes up to $15 depending on the service your referral purchases and the cookie duration is 45 days, which is not too bad. Moreover, you can join the program through CJ Affiliate, where you will get all the marketing tools you need.

Gabi

This car insurance affiliate program is pretty decent and even though the commissions aren’t going to sweep you off your feet, you will still enjoy it for a number of reasons.

What is important to note about the Gabi program is that you get paid $5 per lead, which means that folks don’t even have to make a purchase for you to earn a bit. But if they do end up paying for some type of insurance through your affiliate link, you will be paid a $13 commission.

Best of all, the cookie lasts for 3 whole months, so we would say that this one is worth giving a go.

Travel insurance affiliate programs

World Nomads

You should definitely consider promoting World Nomads insurance services because they have a rather decent affiliate program. They also let their affiliates promote them on most platforms, including Instagram and other social media networks.

The commission is a flat 10% on all orders and the cookie lasts for 30 days.

Allianz Travel Insurance

If you are a traveler or nomad yourself, you’ve probably heard about Allianz before. It is one of the largest insurance companies in the world and they have a separate service for travelers.

Allianz runs its affiliate program through CJ Affiliate. You can earn up to $25 for each sale and the cookie lasts for 45 days, which is pretty good. The good thing is that on CJ Affiliate, you will get loads of promotional tools such as banners and other marketing materials.

RoamRight

If you already are a ShareASale affiliate and you have a blog in the travel niche, it really would pay off to do a bit of research on this affiliate program.

Unlike some of the others that we have showcased in this article, RoamRight really stands out from the crowd thanks to the amazing 365-day cookie length. As for the commissions, their value can vary since this is one of the only programs that pays its affiliates 15% of how much their referrals spend.

Health insurance affiliate programs

eHealth

As its name suggests, this company focuses on offering quality and affordable health insurance. What’s interesting about the eHealth program is that the commissions vary depending on the type of service your referrals get.

For example, you can earn $10 if they get the dental insurance, $50 if they get the general health plan, and there’s also the possibility of you making $75 if they opt for the small business insurance (yes, there’s one of those, too).

To top it all off, the cookie lasts for 120 days, so it is one of the longest we’ve come across while doing research for this article.

DentalPlans.com

Everyone knows how important dental health is and how much dental care services can cost, especially in the United States. This one is pretty great for bloggers that are writing about health, and we’d say that it can be recommended even by folks who are in the fitness niche, too.

You should consider becoming a DentalPlans.com affiliate because the cookie lasts for 30 days and the commission is pretty good ($50 for every new customer).

GoHealth

This one is simply worth noting here because we like to give you all the information you need. But we would argue that it is one of the least appealing affiliate programs in this niche.

GoHealth pays its affiliates just $4 per quote and from what we gathered, there’s no way of earning a bonus every now and then or increasing your earnings based on the kind of services your referrals choose.

While the cookie is pretty decent at 45 days, we’d still say that GoHealth might not be up your alley because of the extremely low commission value.

Aviva

This dental insurance company has been around since the beginning of the 1990s, so the services are fairly well-known in the United States. The good thing about their insurance is that people can pay just $8.25 per month depending on their specific needs.

Aviva affiliates can earn up to $35 per lead (not sale) depending on whatever their referrals pick.

Home insurance affiliate programs

Hippo

This is one of the most popular options when it comes to home insurance, so you aren’t going to have a hard time suggesting it to your blog readers. The company is pretty unique in that besides the actual insurance, they also sell smart devices and a variety of other tools for protecting people’s houses.

As for their affiliate program, it is being run through ShareASale, which is an advantage. Also, the cookie lasts for three whole months and you can earn up to $25 on each qualifying sale.

Allstate

Allstate is another reputable company in the industry of insurance and while they do offer a variety of services from car and motorcycle insurance to renters’ and life insurance, we decided to showcase it in this category.

The affiliate program is run through FlexOffers and you can earn varying commissions depending on how much people spend through your affiliate link and also what products they choose. The range is somewhere between $4.8 and $28 and the cookie lasts for just 5 days.

NetQuote

Even though we couldn’t find just how long the cookie lasts for this affiliate program, we will say that they are pretty decent when it comes to their commissions. You can earn anything between $2.5 and $20 depending on the type of service your referrals pick.

They also offer bonuses to the affiliates that perform better, so every now and then you can earn $20 more.

Commercial insurance affiliate programs

Coverwallet

This company offers small business insurance and makes it possible for everyone to understand what they are getting in without too much hassle. While it might not be as well-known as some of the other brands here, we say that it s still worth recommending to your blog readers.

The Coverwallet affiliate program is rather good, too, since you can earn $30 for each verified quote request and the cookie lasts for 30 days.

Hiscox

This one is specifically designed for small business owners, and it offers a variety of services such as cybersecurity, general liability, and business owner liability.

The Hiscox affiliate program is fairly straightforward. You can earn as much as $25 per every completed quote, but there is a drawback that you have to mull over as to whether you should join it or not — the cookie lasts for just 7 days, which is much lower compared to other programs.

Final thoughts

Choosing the right affiliate insurance program strictly depends on your needs and preferences and your blog niche. We decided to organize the options you have available depending on the industry because we thought it would make things a lot easier.

Don’t base your final decision only on the commission value. Sometimes, the cookie is just as important, and we would say that a detail like whether or not you can manage everything through an affiliate network matters a lot, too.

Find the program that best suits you and what you write about. Some of these companies work for great causes, and some donate a part of their profits to charity, so if being ethical matters to you, you can do a bit of research on them.
