Best Personal Development Affiliate Programs

If you are a seasoned affiliate, you might have heard that the education niche is one of the highest earning ones out there. You can sell courses and other products and services that can take people’s productivity to a whole new level while also teaching them new skills.

But personal development is just the same. There are many companies in this particular niche and the commissions are worth writing home about, too. In today’s article, we’re looking at some of the personal development affiliate programs that you should have a look at if your blog or website is in the industry.

Best Personal Development Affiliate Programs

For all the options listed below, we’ll specify the commission rates you can expect as well as the cookie lengths of each and every one.

If we find any information in this sense, we’ll also specify whether you can use these programs through affiliate platforms such as ClickBank, ShareASale, Awin, JVZoo, or anything else, and how these programs pay their affiliates.

udemy personal development affiliate program

Udemy

While this program could be better in some respects, we decided to showcase it as our first choice because this brand is basically unbeatable. Udemy started out as an educational website where people could learn skills such as programming and marketing, but it then delved into several more niches.

The commission is 20% on all courses using your affiliate link. You can manage everything through Rakuten, which is an advantage in itself, and the cookie lasts for just 7 days — which is not that good.

Tony Robbins

Pretty much everyone in the world that has ever had a focus on increasing their productivity and making sure that they succeed in life has heard about Tony Robbins at least once.

Robbins is a very talented and educated speaker and his website has a wide range of courses, seminars, and other such services and products. The good thing about this personal development affiliate program is that it is conveniently run through CJ Affiliate, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

The cookie lasts for a month and a half and the commission rate is a fixed 15% on all qualifying sales. That might not sound like an excellent choice, but given the amazing brand that Tony Robbins has, we’d say you should still consider it.

coach training alliance

Coach Training Alliance

This one is a little different in that it’s actually focused on (as its name suggests) coaching, not personal development in all respects. But for people who want to become coaches themselves, it’s a pretty good choice.

There are plenty of courses available on the platform and they range from business and life to spiritual and success.

While the commission rate might be less worth writing home about since it’s a fixed 15% on all qualifying sales, the cookie does last for a whole year, which definitely makes things better. Also, if you already have a ShareASale account, this one’s perfect since it is run through that network.

Tai Lopez

As controversial as some people might believe Tai Lopez is, the truth is that his personal brand has seen an amazing increase in popularity over the past few years. As such, you are not going to have a lot of difficulty recommending the courses and products available here.

You are not going to be able to join it through a network, though, so you’ll have to apply directly using the official Tai Lopez website. You can make as much as 50% to 90% of the value of every personal development material, but the cookie remains an enigma that needs solving.

optimal thinking affiliate program

Optimal Thinking

This company specializes in several unique things. For example, there are business plan and business proposal services available, but also seminars for coaching and personal growth. All of these have different costs.

While the Optimal Thinking affiliate program can’t be joined and managed through a network, you can apply directly using the brand’s website. The commission rate is 30% on all sales and the cookie lasts for an entire year.

We’d also like to note that the company pays its affiliates on a monthly basis, so you are not going to have to wait for a long time to see your earnings hitting your bank account.

Coursera

The sky’s the limit when it comes to what you can promote through Coursera as the site has educational materials on pretty much anything that people might ever want to learn. While some of the courses are free to watch — they will clearly not get you any earnings, but certificates or degrees do come at a cost, so that’s how you’ll rack up commissions.

The good thing about the Coursera affiliate program is that you can join it and manage everything through the Rakuten network (which we wrote a review of, so you should check that out, too!).

The commission rates vary from 20% to 45% depending on the value of the courses and their specific niche. The downside is that the cookie lasts for just 30 days, so that’s considerably less compared to what other programs showcases here have to offer.

masterclass affiliate

MasterClass

Although it is fairly new compared to other sites in the same domain, MasterClass has quickly become very popular. Lots of the courses that people can find here are actually taught by seasoned experts, from writers to actors and famous chefs.

Some of the other topics that students can opt for range from business and society to writing, film and TV, and even sports, and there’s plenty of material in the personal development/self growth field, too.

What’s truly neat about the MasterClass affiliate program is that it can be managed through ShareASale, so if you already have an account there, signing up is going to be a breeze.

The commission rate is 25% on all sales and the cookie lasts for 30 days, but what we’d like to note is that you can also get bonuses based on the value of the courses you’ve managed to get people to invest in. For instance, once you get to $1,500 in sales, you’ll get a $100 bonus.

Hay House

This brand has been around for quite a while and during that time, the company has managed to gain a pretty stellar reputation. It specializes in a variety of educational materials, from audiobooks and lectures to kits, books, and even apps that people can install on their mobile devices.

We couldn’t find any specific info as to whether you can join the program through a network, though, which means that it’s quite likely that you will have to apply directly on the Hay House site.

The cookie remains a mystery, unfortunately, but the commission rate can go up to 50% depending on the value of the products you get your blog audience to purchase and the category they are in.

neurogym affiliate program

NeuroGym

This one might seem a little weird as there aren’t a lot of things that you can promote through the brand’s site and the company isn’t all that transparent when it comes to the affiliate program.

For example, we couldn’t find out how long the cookie lasts, but what we do know for sure is that you can earn up to 40% of the value of all the products that your audience purchases through your affiliate links.

Although most resources might suggest that you will have to sign up only by using the NeuroGym website, it does work through a network, too — VigLink (or Sovrn).

Mindvalley

This platform is a great choice for anyone looking to make their life better and grow as a person and professional. There are many personal development courses available, and while many of them are online, people can also choose to go to the actual Mindvalley school, too.

As for the affiliate program, you can earn up to 30% of all sales; the cookie lasts for just one month, which might be less amazing, but it’s still something to consider.

What we do have to note is that this one is strictly geared toward seasoned affiliates whose websites already have a very large amount of organic traffic. You need to have at least 200,000 followers across several platforms to be eligible as an affiliate.

morning ritual mastery

Morning Ritual Mastery

This affiliate program works through ClickBank, so that’s a pro off the bat. The guy behind the program is very well-known on platforms such as YouTube, where he’s been making a lot of videos about affiliate marketing and more, including productivity and personal success.

We’d say that you should at least jot down Morning Ritual Mastery on your list of choices, and that’s because the commission is a 50% on all sales and the cookie lasts for two whole months. Not bad, right?

Health Coach Institute

The Health Coach Institute has a very unique affiliate program in that it’s more of a ‘refer-a-friend’ kind of system rather than being traditionally based on affiliate marketing per se.

For every person you get to join the program, you can earn as much as $500. The cookie is a mystery, so you should probably look at it as something that might last for just 24 hours or so. The good thing is that the company pays its affiliates directly through PayPal or cheque.

Greater Minds

The personal development affiliate products that you are going to stumble upon on this website are going to make you a pretty decent income, considering that every sale can get you up to 50% in commissions.

The cookie lasts for two months, which isn’t bad at all, either. In terms of how you will be able to get paid, there are two payout methods — wire transfers and PayPal.

We couldn’t find any info as to whether the Greater Minds program is run through a network, so you might have to join it directly on the official website. We did find out that they pay their affiliates monthly and that there’s only a waiting period of 15 days to make sure that your commissions are approved.

i need motivation affiliate

I Need Motivation

We might have noticed this personal development affiliate program as a part of our post about some of the best mental health affiliate programs. This is a site that’s heavily focused on things such as eliminating bad habits and improving people’s relationships.

As for the products you can promote, there is a fair share of courses, DVDs, or audio materials that people can purchase through your affiliate links.

What’s cool about the program is that the cookie lasts for an incredible period of 50 years. Also, the commission rate is valued at 45% of every sale, and affiliates can actually increase it to 50% if they get their audience to make 20 sales.

You do have to apply to the program through the company’s own website and you have a better chance of being approved if your website has a decent amount of traffic and has been around for some time.

Simple Truths

This is one of the personal growth affiliate programs that should be right up your alley and the reason we say this is not because of the commission rates (just 10% on all sales) or the cookie length (just 45 days).

It’s just really convenient and easy to become an affiliate and get your earnings every month. Also, because Simple Truths pays its affiliates through PayPal, pretty much anyone, regardless of their location, can use this program.

forward steps affiliate program

Forward Steps

Forward Steps is another excellent option for people looking to recommend a variety of personal development products to their audience, from courses and e-books to gift cards and more.

Every sale can make you 50% in commissions and the cookie lasts for two whole months. On top of that, the company manages its own affiliate program, and while that might not necessarily be a pro, they do pay their affiliates every month via PayPal.

Panda Planner

If some of the people who visit your blog or website are geared toward taking practical steps toward making their lives better, they might enjoy products such as journals or planners. Well, that’s where this affiliate program truly shines.

Although some might argue that using paper instead of digital products is counterproductive and also bad for the environment, it’s a practice often more effective than anything else.

As a Panda Planner affiliate, you can earn up to 12% of the value of all qualifying sales. The cookie lasts for one month and a half, which is pretty decent, and from what we’ve gathered, the company manages the program on its own, without collaborating with an affiliate network.

freedom app

Freedom App

This one is more geared toward people who are heavily focused on taking their productivity to a whole new level rather than folks wanting to improve their lives on a whole.

The app works on both desktop and mobile devices and the main deal behind it is that it blocks distractions such as social media networks when users need to work or do something else rather than engage in endless scrolling.

The affiliate program isn’t really excellent, in that you’ll earn just 10% on every qualifying sale; plus, the cookie lasts for just 30 days — which is less than some of the other options we’ve described in this article can offer you.

Higher Awareness

While the name of this brand might not necessarily give you the impression that it’s legit, the company has been around for almost 50 years. During that time, Higher Awareness has helped a lot of people with their personal and spiritual growth goals.

The affiliate program is very straightforward. You can make up to 50% in commission for every sale and the cookie lasts for six whole months. Therefore, you might want to at least check out their website to see whether any of their products might be a match for your niche, writing style, or what your audience tends to favor.

audible affiliate program

Audible

This one is very similar to what you can expect from Amazon Associates, which we will detail in the section below. For every audio material that people purchase through your affiliate link, you’ll make just 50 cents. But you can also earn $5 for free trials and $10 for paid digital memberships, which is a little better.

The downside is that the cookie lasts for just 24 hours, so if someone decides to get the trial on the next day, you might lose your commission.

Amazon Associates

While the main reason for becoming an Amazon Associates affiliate is that the brand is so incredibly well-known and you can basically earn commissions from all the other purchases that people make (including regular things like detergent and more), the truth is that it is not the best program in the world.

In the personal development niche, you’ll find a variety of materials to promote such as DVDs, CDs, ebooks and physical books, and productivity tools such as timers — but that’s pretty much everything you can recommend to your audience.

The commission rates aren’t excellent, either, and we’d say that you might consider yourself lucky if you manage to make 5% of all the sales. To make things even worse, the cookie lasts for just 24 hours. All in all, you’ll have to decide by yourself if it makes sense for you to become an Amazon affiliate or not.
